This certificate pathway combines structured, skills-based training with academic learning and provides a practical foundation for professionals delivering trauma-informed therapy or supporting people affected by trauma and crisis. All workshops may also be booked separately.
How the Advanced Certificate works
A semi-structured, self-paced pathway. You can enrol from the start or explore a Foundation workshop first before deciding to continue.
Getting started
You can join the Advanced Certificate pathway at any time. You may enrol in the full Certificate from the outset, or first attend one of our Foundation workshops as standalone CPD and decide later whether you would like to continue.

You can also begin with Safety & Stabilisation workshop or Fear & Therapist, and both Foundation workshops can be completed in either order.

Completion
Complete the required training and 250 CPD hours, final clinical case study, supervisor confirmation and completion review.
Course fees: up to £995, including Annual CTI Membership. Individual supervision is arranged and paid separately.
On completion, you receive the Advanced Certificate in Complex Trauma Practice – 250 CPD hours. Inclusion in the CTI Trauma Specialised Therapists Directory is optional.
The programme is self-paced and can be completed over a timeframe that works for you.
